Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons
  • Whisk
  • Large skillet or wok
  • Spatula or tongs
  • Serving platter
  • Knife and cutting board

Ingredients

  • pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • ½ cup Soy Vay Veri Veri Teriyaki Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 medium red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup sugar snap peas
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds optional, for garnish
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken:

  • Start by placing the chicken pieces in a mixing bowl. Pour ¼ cup of the Soy Vay Veri Veri Teriyaki Sauce over them, ensuring every piece is coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors infuse.

Prep Your Vegetables:

  • While the chicken marinates, wash and cut the vegetables. Slice the red bell pepper, trim the sugar snap peas, and chop the green onions.

Sauté the Aromatics:

  • In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil and sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring for 30 seconds until they release their fragrance.

Cook the Chicken:

  • Add the marinated chicken to the skillet. Cook for 5–7 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pieces are golden brown and cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Add the Vegetables:

  • Toss in the broccoli, red bell pepper, and snap peas. Stir-fry for about 3–4 minutes until the vegetables are tender yet crisp.

Glaze with Sauce:

  • Pour the remaining ¼ cup of Soy Vay Veri Veri Teriyaki Sauce over the chicken and vegetables. Stir everything well, allowing the sauce to coat the ingredients evenly. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes to thicken slightly.

Serve and Garnish:

  • Serve the teriyaki chicken over a bed of steamed rice or noodles. Sprinkle chopped green onions and sesame seeds on top for added flavor and texture.

Notes

❖ Marination Magic: For the best flavor, marinate the chicken in Soy Vay Teriyaki sauce for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight. The longer it marinates, the deeper the flavors will infuse into the chicken.
❖ Versatile Protein Options: While chicken is the star of this recipe, you can easily swap it out for tofu, shrimp, or beef for a unique twist that suits your preferences.
❖ Grill or Bake: This recipe works beautifully on a grill for a smoky char or in the oven for hands-off cooking. Adjust the method based on your available time and tools.
❖ One Sauce, Many Uses: Soy Vay Teriyaki sauce isn’t just for marinating—it can double as a glaze, dipping sauce, or stir-fry base, making it incredibly versatile.
❖ Perfect Pairings: Serve the teriyaki chicken with jasmine rice, stir-fried veggies, or a crisp cucumber salad for a well-rounded and satisfying meal.
