Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb chicken livers
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup milk
  • Olive oil spray for spraying
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion granules

Instructions
 

Prep the Chicken Livers:

  • Rinse the chicken livers under cold water and remove any excess fat or connective tissue. Pat them dry with paper towels.

Prepare the Breading Mixture:

  • In a small bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion granules, black pepper, and salt. Set this aside.

Make the Egg Mixture:

  • In another bowl, whisk together the egg and milk until smooth.

Coat the Livers:

  • Dip each chicken liver first into the egg mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated. Then, dredge it in the flour mixture, pressing lightly to ensure an even coating. Place the breaded livers on a plate.

Preheat the Air Fryer:

  • Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes. Chicken livers in the basket, making sure they are in a single layer. Spray the livers lightly with olive oil spray as well.

Cooking Time:

  • Air fry the chicken livers at 380°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes, flipping them halfway through for even cooking, until they are golden brown and cooked through.

Serve and Enjoy:

  • Once cooked, remove the chicken livers from the air fryer. Serve immediately with your choice of dipping sauce or as a main dish with a side salad or vegetables.

Notes

Make sure to not overcrowd the air fryer basket; if needed, cook the chicken livers recipe in batches.For an extra crispy finish, you can spray the livers with a little more olive oil halfway through cooking.
